In Digital Filmmaking, students explore the dynamic world of film creation, with a curriculum rooted in hands-on, project-based learning. The course covers aspects of digital storytelling, from storyboarding and cinematography to editing and post-production, all while emphasizing that creativity can flourish within the confines of a smartphone. Without the need for specialized cameras, sound, or editing equipment, students will learn to harness the power of accessible technology to record, produce, and refine their own films. As they navigate the filmmaking process, participants will develop a keen eye for visual storytelling, master the art of narrative pacing, and learn to communicate complex ideas through the lens of their devices. Designed to spark a deep appreciation for digital arts, this course equips students with the skills to transform their imaginative concepts into compelling visual narratives, ready for the screen.
