Financial Literacy for Student Athletes introduces students to the essentials of managing finances, tailored specifically for the unique challenges and opportunities faced by student athletes. Students explore the basics of budgeting, savings, investments, and taxes, with a keen focus on maximizing the potential of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities. Through hands-on projects, students will learn to navigate the financial landscape with confidence, from evaluating the real cost of expenditures versus the power of investment, to crafting strategies for financial independence and wealth building. Emphasizing practical applications, the curriculum is designed to equip young athletes with the tools to make informed financial decisions, ensuring they are well-prepared not only for their collegiate careers but for life beyond the sports arena.
